A Real Landlord Insurance NZ policy includes cover for the likes of the following events:

• Loss of rent (untenantable house, prevention of access, tenant vacating without notice, default by tenant, plus more)

• Landlord's contents (theft & damage due to theft, acts of god, water damage, plus more)

• Intentional damage (damage & vandalism by tenant, tenant's family & guests)

• Landlord's Liability (legal liability & defense costs for accidental loss or bodily injury)

Vital cover for less than $1 per day.
